As a tour coordinator I work with the artist and the curator to create a tour proposal which includes all the key elements galleries will need to make a decision rearding their involment in the tour.
If desired, I will meet with the artist to discuss the work and formulate a proposal, and help to select images that will represent the work.
I address pracitcal issues of budget and financing specific to touring artwork.
From experience I have learned that a good Pdf proposal is an inexpensive means to discover if sufficient interest exists to go forward with a tour. Many galleries will now make their decisions soley based on a comprehenseive pdf proposal while others may be encouraged to ask for hard copy proposals for their committees to view.
