Vanity and the Goddess Sarasvati is a project that was developed with the Queen of Puddings Music Theatre Company in Toronto (ON, Canada). Dr. Adéla Sandness, a professor of religious studies, was an invaluable resource on aspects of the Goddesss and South Indian culture and mythology while singer Suba Sankaran who plays the central role of Sarasvati is provided advice on elements of music that refer to the South Indian Classical traditions of singing, rythm, and movement.
